the broken crested gecko

this is a crested gecko, check out his eyelashes!

hes still a baby and, i'm sorry to report, i broke him

i was holding him very gently, with his tail between my fingers, but he wriggled and his tail fell off. and proceeded to wriggle in my hand.

needless to say, i screamed blue bloody murder and ran squealing round the shop, much to the amusement of my friend the shop owner

dont worry, he'll grow his tail back! i knew they could shed tails but i completely forgot
